Music to Caffe's Ears...

Hello my Dear Friend... I'm delighted to have you here!  There's so much garbage on the TV right now that I'd much rather fill your cup and chat about... HEY!  Why don't we do something different?  We'll play a fun little game of... Name your favorite song that's playing on the radio, name a song that would embarrass you if your friends knew, and how about naming your all time favorite song from high school days?

Caffe, you crack me up!  I know Darling, but I thought I'd get to know you a little better and besides which, when I tell you my three choices, we'll see how funny you really think I am!  lol

Okay, I'll go first...

  1. Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People... I have NO idea what this song is about!  Someone on the run?
  2. Don't laugh to hard... Aerosmith's I Don't Want to Miss a Thing.  When this song comes on when I'm driving, I blast the radio, when I'm by myself, and sing top lung with emotions and all, and then I turn to look out my window and see that I have an audience in the car next to me!  Oooh Goodie, an audience for moi!
  3. I can't choose one for this category!  Music was my outlet when I was a teen.  From rock to new wave, MTV was alive and fresh... it was the 80's Baby!  Hmmmm... okay let me think... Oingo Boing- Dead Man's Party
So there you have it my Darling... are you laughing?  HA!  You're visualizing me singing in the car, aren't you?  Come on, your turn... Fess Up!  No more refills for you until I get your answers... lol  TA TA my giggly Friend!

UPDATE: What do you mean Pumped Up Kids is about shootings in school?  How horrible!  Okay, next pick... Good Feeling- Flo Rida

  1. My favorite song in high school was Lover Boy's "Everybody's working for the weekend."

ps. foster the people song were in my blog too(they are some cutie pies):

  2. Okay, here goes:

    1) "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO...everything else on the radio these days pretty much sucks in my opinion.
    2) "Toxic" by Britney Spears...liking anything Ms. Spears does is kind of
    3) This is a hard one to narrow down. Too many favourites! Anything from Prince, The Fixx, Michael Jackson, U2, Fleetwood Mac.

One of my all-time fave songs is "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac!

So there you have it. Thanks for bringing back memories...think I'll go play some of my old cassettes now.

  3. Love anything to do with music.

    1) I can't really think of anything that's on the radio right now. I listen to a classic rock radio station.

    2) Song that would embarass me if my friends knew...Nothing embarasses me! I thought the Jonas Brothers songs were good!

    3) Favorite song from high school? Too hard! Love "Give a Little Bit" by Supertramp.

  4. 1. Fav song on the radio: ??? People still listen to music on the radio? I'm all about iTunes and my iPod, lol. I guess I'm just missing out.

    2. Embarrassing song: How about embarrassing bands? I think Abba (Dancing Queen or Take a Chance on Me) and Queen (Bohemian Rhapsody, Bicycle) are silly but fun!

    3. High School song: Honestly, I mostly listened to classical music by my own choice. It was the late 70s and the rock I listened to was punk rock (X was my absolute favorite band) and alternative rock (Britain's Siouxsie and the Banshees) as well as David Bowie's psychedelic and glam rock of the 60's-70s. No single favorite song, just a bunch of favs. : )

  5. Classic rock, through and through. Any & all of it!

P.S. I gave you a little award... take a peek:

  6. 1. Party Rock Anthem - LMFAO. I can't stop listening to this. I think it's the shuffling part, cuz that's what I'm doing!
    2. Fergalicious - Fergie. Please don't tell anyone outside this blog that it's on my ipod! I may have to blackmail you for lipsticks.
    3. You oughta know - Alanis Morisette. I remember the first time I heard it and this song just spoke to me. i still love it and all of her albums.

  7. Well this was fun Darlings! Thanks for playing... Huh? MEeeee again???? Oh Melissa Darling, thank you kindly for the award... do you have a tube of lipstick for me?? lol Cups Up! xoxo

  8. Am I your "Belated Player?" Here are my lame choices:
    1) Adele..anything by her is good for me
    2) Embarrassing song: Dancing Queen--Love it! Snorfle...:P
    3) "The Letter" "I don't care how much time it's gonna take, Got ta get back ta my baby, today! Lonely days are gone...Imma comin' baby, she wrote me a letta... :]

  9. Added a link to your blog on a recent posting!

  10. I just want to say I'm enjoying reading everyone's selections! I listened to a clip of each song or group mentioned here through iTunes-- it's so fun! Great choices, everyone! And I love Adele's voice ("Someone Like You").

Anyone have more to add? : D

  11. That Aerosmith song is my wedding song:-) Love!

  12. I love love love music! I couldn't tell you the name of any song playing on the radio...but when they come on, I can sing 'em word for word.

Embarrassed? I loved going to see NSYNC! OH that JT was such a cutie!

High school, in the 80's? Well duh...had to be anything Prince...oh or maybe Judas Priest...I was confused...hmm, I support diversity in music! I love it all!
