How To Cook A Turkey*

Step 1: Go buy a turkey 

Step 2: Take a drink of whiskey

Step 3: Put turkey in the oven 

Step 4: Take another 2 drinks of whiskey 

Step 5: Set the degree at 375 ovens 

Step 6: Take 3 more whiskeys of drink 

Step 7: Turk the bastey 

Step 8: Whiskey another bottle of get 

Step 9: Stick a turkey in the thermometer 

Step 10: Glass yourself a pour of whiskey

 Step 11: Bake the whiskey for 4 hours 

Step 12: Take the oven out of the turkey

 Step 13: Floor the turkey up off of the pick

Hello my Dear Friend... SO happy when you stop by.  I have an extremely dark roasted, bitter blend of, ‘Angry Musician’ mixed with a heaping spoonful of, ‘Shut the f*#k Up!’ to fill your cup today...

Do you remember the other day Darling, when we were talking about favorite songs?  “Someone Like You” came up in the conversation and hearing this song a few times on the radio, I think Adele sings her little heart and soul out with so much passion it takes my breath away... until I paid attention to the lyrics.

How dare this woman come uninvited to my front door to tell my Hubby to not forget about her... If I ever catch her near my home... I will SO kick her rump to the curb!!  And what a lot of nerve for her to tell my Hubby that she’s reminding him that she’s not over him... Well you know what Adele?  My Hubby got over you and found me because I give him what he wants because you never could, so deal with it!!  

Oh my, my lipstick is getting smudged!!  


Caffe calm down!  Adele is not singing to your Hubby!


 What?  She’s not talking to my Hubby?  It’s not about me and that bi!@h on the radio?  Umm...oh... never mind...

Ummmm.... Darling?  No need to refill *ahem* thanks!  I think I’ll go and change the radio station... need to touch up my lipstick too as it got just a tad smudged... Until next time my Sweet... Ta Ta!

No More Awards... Lipstick Please!

Well Hellooooo my Darling Friend... I absolutely adore when you stop by for a visit!  Come on in, and let me fill your cup with a fresh blend of, ‘More awards Caffe?’

Oh Darling... With each award I receive, I keep hinting to everyone that I’d much prefer a new tube of lipstick instead... it hasn’t happened yet.  lol!  Awards are quite an achievement in the BlogSphere and I feel so honored when another blogger recognizes how absolutely fabulous I am!  

The Tell Me About Yourself Award, has been presented to me from my Dear Friend Melissa over at, Glimpses of the Good Life.  I think she does more than take a glimpse, as she takes beautiful pictures to treasure those brief moments forever.  Beautiful pictures?  I know of a beautiful picture... the lipstick aisle in Target!  Oh Caffe, your going on a lipstick tangent again!  OH, Ooopsie!  Okay, where was I?

RULES!!

Oh, that’s right Darling, rules... Now, there are rules about accepting these awards and I must apologize in advanced as I never seem to be able to follow them! 

Here are the “official” rules...

1. I must tell 7 things about myself
2. I must pass it on to 15 other bloggers  

I’ve been very naughty with my past awards and quite stingy with passing it on... so Darling, without further ado, I’ll tell you a few tidbits about myself and pass this award on so others will know that they’re appreciated too...

1. I was a flight attendant before I was married.  That must be where I got my lipstick obsession from as after each meal, they would march us to the restrooms to reapply lipstick!  Can you believe that Darling?  Lipstick was part of our training! 
2. I am the cause of, hmmm... about 7 barroom brawls.  I didn’t do it on purpose my Dear... I promise!  I couldn’t help it if the boyz were behaving like boyz!
3. I have been in a mosh pit at a Penny Wise concert... what was I thinking?!
4. I chipped my front right tooth surfing on waves waaay to big for me in Waikiki using my Dad’s battleship of a surfboard... another bright idea from a very confident Caffe that surfed... mmmm... once!
5. One snowy season, I rescued a handful of lost beginning skiers that were on the black diamond trail and couldn’t find a safe way down the mountain where I taught kids how to ski.  Yes Darling, I was a ski instructor and a very cute one at that!
6. I’ve been swaying my hips back and forth once a week for the past 5 years doing hula.  I just adore dancing to the rhythm of music that reminds me of the islands!  My imagination always takes me to a sunny place in the sand, sipping a mai tai... ahhhhhhh...
7. And my 7th tidbit... I knew from the first time I looked into my Hubby’s bright, blue eyes, he was the love of my life... then I made him marry me right away my stunning beauty and charming personality captured his heart as well, and he couldn’t wait to marry me!  

So there you have it... a nice blend that I would drink again and again!  OH, I mustn’t forget... 15 fabulous bloggers... In no particular order as they are ALL delicious...

Hello my Dear Friend... I'm delighted to have you here!  There's so much garbage on the TV right now that I'd much rather fill your cup and chat about... HEY!  Why don't we do something different?  We'll play a fun little game of... Name your favorite song that's playing on the radio, name a song that would embarrass you if your friends knew, and how about naming your all time favorite song from high school days?


Caffe, you crack me up!  I know Darling, but I thought I'd get to know you a little better and besides which, when I tell you my three choices, we'll see how funny you really think I am!  lol


Okay, I'll go first...

1. Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People... I have NO idea what this song is about!  Someone on the run?
2. Don't laugh to hard... Aerosmith's I Don't Want to Miss a Thing.  When this song comes on when I'm driving, I blast the radio, when I'm by myself, and sing top lung with emotions and all, and then I turn to look out my window and see that I have an audience in the car next to me!  Oooh Goodie, an audience for moi!
3. I can't choose one for this category!  Music was my outlet when I was a teen.  From rock to new wave, MTV was alive and fresh... it was the 80's Baby!  Hmmmm... okay let me think... Oingo Boing- Dead Man's Party

So there you have it my Darling... are you laughing?  HA!  You're visualizing me singing in the car, aren't you?  Come on, your turn... Fess Up!  No more refills for you until I get your answers... lol  TA TA my giggly Friend!

Caffe's Thoughts On Blog Hops... Quite Frankly My Dear, I Don't Give A Damn!

Hello my Darling Friend... Always such a pleasure when you stop by!  I’ve got a fresh brew of, ‘Really?  64 less 2 and some that already follow, so minus... let’s just say 10!’ to fill your cup with...

Oh Caffe, what are you filling my cup up with this time?  Blog hop rules Darling!  They’re never followed and I don’t know why I even bother... Bad manners... No follows... and the time and effort to make some new friends and increase blog traffic just makes me want to call it quits and stick to something that makes me happy... buying a new shade of lipstick!

Thanks to Darling CC over at The Clumsy Coquette, I was featured last Friday on her blog hop... how wonderful and it ended my fickle relationship with hops... for about an hour... then the comments start to roll in... OH Joy... guests!  I just adore having company and filling their cups... “I’m your newest follower, hit me back on the GFC when you stop by”... Ummmm, not sure I like that kind of request.  Hit me back?  Yep, I’d like to hit you back!  What happened to pleasantries and the art of tact?  Hmmmph... some people forget all their manners when leaving a comment!

Then there’s the rule about Follow the Feature!!  Now let’s take a look at this particular rule my Dear and figure out the math... I started with 259 on the GFC and now I’m at 275... some of my newest followers didn’t even come from the hop...

Really?  16?  16 out of 64 less 2 and some that already follow, so minus... let’s just say 10... you know, the brew I’m serving... the number I got... 52!!  52 that linked up to this hop that did not follow the rules!  WOW!  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again... “These darn blog hops... they’re such a heartbreak!”

So with that being said, I’m breaking up with blog hops for good... shed no tears for me my Dear Friend as I am Caffe and I’d much prefer to spend my time with those that I already love to flirt with... of course, I’m talking about, YOU!

Oh looky, my cup is empty but quite honestly, I’m ready to brew a new pot of something else... Come back again my Darling, as you always put a smile on my pretty little pucker.  Ta Ta!

The Fish Ate My Votes!

Hello my Dear Friend... I’ve got a mystery to solve and I need your help!  Come let me fill your cup with a fresh brew of, ‘But I had 17 votes, how did it get down to 4?’

Not that moi has ever cared what place I’m in when it comes to these Mommy Blog directories, I’m tops no matter where I am... but I do visit every so often to make sure I’m still listed and of course give myself a little boost of confidence by voting... if I want more confidence, maybe I should just change my shade of lipstick instead! 

It also reminds me to visit some Darling bloggers that are on the directory and vote for them as well, because I’m that type of Mommy and I like to help out my fellow bloggers whenever I have a chance.

Lately, I’ve been visiting Top Mommy Blogs through my ‘vote for me’ button on the right, and I think that every-time I do, the alarms and sirens go off at Top Mommy Blogs with a blaring, high pitched, revolving lights, mayhem ... WARNING... WARNING... WARNING! CAFFEINATED OC MOMMY IS VOTING FOR HERSELF AGAIN! 

What?  Moi?  Of course I’m voting for myself Darling, don’t we all?  But it still hasn’t answered the question... Where are my 17 votes and how come the numbers are dropping instead of rising?  Something fishy is going on and I’m not sitting at a sushi bar... Hmmph!  It makes my lipstick smudge in all the wrong places! 

I just have to laugh Darling, the top blogs have ((hundreds)) of votes to their credit and I’m whimpering about a silly 17 votes!  LOL  Okay, now that I put that into perspective I think I’ll go to the... What?  Now it’s down to 3 votes!  Yep, the fish smell is getting stronger than this brew in my cup!
